THE ASK:
Acura is the premium car range from Japanese automaker Honda.
Establish Honda as aspirational yet affordable luxury and showcase their range of vehicles, making it easier for users to order, view pre-owned, see retail offers and order test drives.
THE PROJECT:
Leading UI design across 3 pods, straddling the wider Agile team, I directed creative, oversaw the creation of the Figma design system. The new website included the history of Acura, range pages, Build & Price functionality for new vehicles where buyers could order their new Acuras and specify trims, additional features and accessories, Protection and Warrranty, Certified Pre-Owned and a comprehensive section on MDX, their top-of-the-range luxury vehicle.
Agile sprints were 2 weeks in length, with regular client touch bases as well as working within the Honda head office with client product owners. Worked in conjunction with other client stakeholders including their development team and presented the design development to senior stakeholders at Honda.
